Phrase of the millennium "the 4 give them the punk lesson, but sweeten it with a splash of sweet Italian melody": no way.

Five without mercy just for mentioning the Bastro, whose spectacular and still highly relevant debut album, despite nearly 25 years since its release, should be taught and performed in full in every school of every order and degree. YEAAAAHHHH (As Alexandrino would say).

Already "Tree Of Life" seemed to me a decent purgative crafted by the hands of Cistercian patients from the rare plums of Saxony... I don't even want to imagine what this is like. Well.
Blonde Redhead La Mia Vita Violenta

Indeed.. the early Blonde Redhead albums were really something else. Then, by constantly refining and thinning out their sound, they also dissolved. Unfortunately.

Indeed, they have a "good sound" even if in this Ellepì they have a more "rounded" and, let's say, "linear" sound compared to the slightly more rustic beginnings. As honestly pointed out by our prolific GIANLUIGGI from '67, the "enthusiastic" tone of DeRecenza is indeed largely due to the not very in-depth understanding of the subject. A pleasant record for three and/or four listens without any further particular anxieties.

Damn! A proto-biblical panegyric that even the good Pliny of Trajan would envy: it surely takes longer to read the DeRecenzione than to listen to the album...
Bad Religion Into The Unknown

Wow! In the night of radio times, I remember that among the many (useless) special features [“Against The Grain” had just been released, if I’m not misremembering terribly], I also organized one on Bad Religion that lasted two hours (and a bit more), delving into the most hidden nooks of Gurewitz & co.'s discography, but I swear, I don’t think I’ve ever even heard this one mentioned (or maybe I’ve completely repressed it). Those were different times: it was definitely hard to gather information (the paper fanzines Blast! and then Dynamo! fortunately provided some great tips), and the hypothetical internet wasn’t even speculated upon in Ballard's books. In practice, it was worse when it was better.
Golden Gurls Typo Magic

But perhaps the issue isn’t whether they can or cannot do it – everyone does exactly what they please – rather, one might wonder, unlike the aforementioned My Bloody Valentine who are nostalgic yes, but "of themselves" (a band that, moreover, has never found significant space in my listening, neither "before" nor now), what sense does it make to release a [debut!] album with the characteristics described here and now. It’s also true that a good 95% of the music produced today references (subliminally or otherwise) what has already been extensively said (if not over-said) before, and if in this case the heart, apparently, doesn’t mourn it, then the problem does indeed not exist.

Great DePaginona as always. However, I must admit that I prefer the [Uilson](http://www.sokratis.it/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/TOM_HANKS_CAST_AWAY_WILSON.png), the inscrutable companion of Tommaso Enchs in “Cast Away” from a few years ago. As for the VDGG, I know (really) very little, so I’ll keep quiet.

The only way to atone for such an extensive extraterritorial transgression would be to self-affix a liberatory 1 + 1. We'll see if the multigrade NonPiùTestaDiPigna will be so stoic and valiant.
