It's not exactly my cup of coffee, but not knowing almost anything about this man and the related band of disco-funk-swing musicians, DePagina turns out to be quite enjoyable.

Annihilator For The Demented
Voto:
Goodness gracious, the Annihilated of tresc!
I haven't heard them since the moldy times of "Alison Hell," at least.
Last summer they came to Sardinia, but I made sure to avoid even thinking about going to see them.
Then I also found out they didn't even play because of electrical dispersion on stage that half-zapped the drummer... it would have been an electrifying concert, basically.
Qui Qui w/ Trevor Dunn

They had just been around my area strumming away: I really would have wanted to be there.
But it wasn't really possible.

"Uhm... the Convergitors. I don’t know. I haven’t heard the new DeDisco, except for the first single (on the wheel of Salem). But I admit that in the recent past, they have sometimes left me increasingly indifferent. Maybe I’m no longer the right age for these para-acoustic infernalities."
And now let me be banned without mercy.

Robert Plant Carry Fire
Voto:
Never heard of this Roberto Pianta. But is he a new singer from Ics Factor?
Apart from the nonsense:
the (real) DeRecenza of the album starts with
(and, in a purely ZOT context, one could also conclude with)
“A beautiful album...”.
But by now the traces of ZOT-istic philosophy have been lost.
Alas.

Uhm.. the Convergitori.
I don't know. I haven't heard the new DeDisco, except for the first single (on the wheel of Salem).
However, I admit that in the recent past they have sometimes left me increasingly indifferent.
Perhaps I'm no longer the right age for these para-acoustic infernalities.

I remember when I heard it, on the days of its release, broadcast at ungodly hours by Claudio Sorge on Radio 1 Rai.
The program's name was something like "Ultra Mega Metal." Right.
I was astonished. Not to mention flabbergasted.
One of the most Brut albums in the history of music.
Indiderably beautiful: in its own way, of course.

"twenty-five minutes of psychedelic jam session of 'Nuraghe' "
Goodness!
Very interesting!
I wonder, knowing the subject, which Nuraghe they must have visited to produce such a DeJam spakkossa?
Barumini?
Abbasanta?
Maybe they just got drunk on Cannonau at 18°: that makes you "visit" them all in about three-quarters of an hour.

But are we (really, really) sure that Fabrizio De André, Piero Ciampi, and Luigi Tenco (who seem quite "distant" to me, to say the least) are not turning in their graves like a washing machine's spin cycle at this sideways connection?

I don't know: this thing about DeMaglie to look cool leaves me puzzled.
That said, one should go to every concert wearing the (mythical) DeMaglia from DeBaser
Il negozio di DeBaser è qui
(I) go to grind concerts wearing the DeMaglia of The Darkness.
Just to seek a good old brawl.
