It's useless to yell into the void, wrecking yard... you just didn’t get it, no need to be embarrassed... the important thing is that you don’t make us look like fools by clinging to the glass and sending the blame back to "us who didn’t understand"... marooonn, God knows how much of a fool you really are.

A thin and sweet-smelling record that (slavo 3/4 tracks) is perfectly useless. Listening to it the other day left me almost indifferent. Sure, the desire to be airy and light is there and undeniable, but it’s in the sounds and arrangements that we miss the mark: old sounds from the 80s (some keyboards are somewhat cloying) and a certain use of electronics is outdated. It seems that dear Kate hasn’t stepped out of her house in 10 years and hasn’t updated herself even a little. Still better than the first album, which at least had some flashes of genius (like the track sung over an endless series of... numbers). Well... I expected much more, given the reviews around. Better this way; otherwise, I would have reviewed it myself...

my god, what a hodgepodge of clichés: my fishmonger at the Mercati Generali has known the meaning of the lyrics to "Roxanne" for years, and for all the other information (and even more), it’s enough to simply type "The Police" into Google. So the question is: what’s the point of writing SUCH technical reviews when you can get so much more from the internet? Why, dear Violator88%, don’t you put in more soul, more personality, more of YOUR THINGS, what that song meant FOR YOU or what you were doing when you listened to it, instead of making those little lists beloved by the teacher or the cold and toneless description of the tracks? No hard feelings. :-)

I could never say "in my opinion, XY is one of the best albums ever written"... IT TAKES A PRESUMPTION AS BIG AS A HOUSE to say something like that... or an extraordinary technical/artistic preparation that, in Italy, only about 50 people possess (don’t worry, I’m NOT one of them... so we can cut off any controversy). Emanuele: are you one of those people?

With all due respect, I wanted to share my thoughts on Guero, and perhaps it was similar to what has already been written, but it wasn't exactly the same, and, if it takes nothing away (or adds anything, as you say), with all due respect, there will at most be 2 reviews of Guero: did someone die? did I offend the other reviewer? are you against multiples of 1? are the territories demarcated because someone else marked there? what’s the problem? does "ONE" problem even exist?
To cut to the chase, here's my advice: next time you see a "BECK-GUERO" review, just don’t read it "because it’s already out there." Simple, right?
From my point of view, if someone else wants to share their opinion on this or another album, I will NEVER have anything to complain about: if it’s there or not, if I liked that other one more, in short, everyone will always be free to do or undo... as long as there is democracy. With all due respect, huh!?

False: Rita Lee or Amadou & Mariam weren't there, so don't be biased and just say "half-truths"... it's true for the others, but they often express different (or even opposing) judgments from the reviews already published, so I don't see why not...
Come on Kosmog., don't do this... you know I care about you a lot... don't leave me...

I love this review and I love this album. Does anyone know if these The For Carnation still exist?

I agree with the Punisher... overrated album and ultimately a bit boring. But... not even one star?!?

Scrapyard, you’re really clueless not to get it... in the end, it says "like the drop falling on the condemned - plin (exactly)". DAMN, clearer than that!!! Great review indeed!
