Forgive me, maybe it is like that NOW, but once I don’t believe it was, and as I say this, I think of Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, the Doors, the early Rolling Stones, Genesis, King Crimson, and so on. However, if it were true, as you say, it would be an apocalyptic and purely commercial view of the musical world. If I think of the Majors, I also agree with you, and luckily there are also the Minors who still believe in the music they produce.

Turkish, if you read the review closely, it’s NOT the album that calms hormonal storms, etc... but rather the statements of the handsome Williams, always so irresistibly sexy, eccentric, and seductive. And there’s quite a difference between the ALBUM and the CHARACTER, don’t you think?
