I began to love Genesis with "Nursery Cryme," which I consider (along with "Selling...") to be among my favorite albums (I don't know if they're the best or not). Some albums are appreciated mainly for the emotional connection they convey... sometimes the music is almost secondary...
Giacomo Puccini Tosca

Honestly, I prefer the Tosca conducted by Muti in 1998: more cohesive and less fragmented. Well, here there's Callas's voice but this cannibalizes the score that's built too much around her. I wanted to break the somewhat D'Annunziano atmosphere that was being created and anyway, no matter what anyone says, I'm the only one who warmly greeted the intrepid alpine soldier.

It's the only one I've never heard... damn it!!

You are right: They are not experimental, they don't invent anything new, they no longer have the critics' approval, and if I really have to listen to rock, there are plenty of other bands with more verve and less burnt out than this one. Nonetheless, this remains a nice live testimony... PS: But is it the review of the concert or that of the album?!?

I know the next one better...perhaps more complete and commercial, but at the time it seemed "well-made" in its own way.

I didn't even know this album, and anyway, I say, welcome reviews of lesser-known or obscure albums NOT present on the site... or do we perhaps want yet another review of Ziggy Stardust?!?!?

I've never tolerated this character and this type of Barnum Circus Rap... annoying... I like the review but it's not sharp and wicked like I prefer :-)
