A little anecdote... Bugo personally emailed me expressing his "regret" about my review of his album "Sguardo Contemporaneo," which I had heavily criticized, and he asked me to take it down (it was quite harsh, actually). That request was forwarded to the little ones who, in addition to that one, REMOVED ALL MY REVIEWS of Italian artists... on Dalla, Baglioni, etc. Closing parenthesis.

I am perfectly IN ANTITHESIS with supersoul. Between the two, this one is by far better than the other, which is saved by a couple of really beautiful tracks and little more. This intimate album "in the style of Battisti No-Sense" has snippets of crooked poetry and visual hallucination that better fit the more intimate and less trashy musical side of the other album.

Here... the Thief of the Rainbow is a load of crap (for me). Boring, cryptic, and pretentious with all that tarot nonsense scattered throughout the film... ugh. Santa Sangre really shook me up when it came out, though!
