I miss the old Belle & Sebastian on this album... they've become more bright and more pop, but I don’t think we can still talk about a commercial album on the level of Gorillaz... If we consider their previous works, I would say it's certainly not a masterpiece... quite the opposite...

I don’t think it’s easy to reach their levels; it must be said that these four guys have found the winning formula! I’m being honest when I say that I could never do it… The sound is reminiscent of something we’ve already heard, but it’s easy to see why… in fact, the first song that the Arctic played together was a song by The Strokes, who are somewhat their reference… I would love to see a band made up of those same Italian critics who have spoken so poorly of them, just to see if it’s that easy, to see if they could even do better! I don’t believe so! The music of these four from Sheffield captivates; it’s raw, it’s made the way it should be… let’s set aside the envy we have towards these four and call it like it is!
