I didn't know about this crap from Dream Theater. The lack of ideas leads directly to desperation—covering one of the cornerstones of '80s metal, what the hell is the point! And then I see why the songs turn out poorly: the creativity and expressiveness of bands like Dream Theater are inversely proportional to their technical abilities. The songs from Master of Puppets may be simple for them (?!), but none of their albums has ever impacted the history of metal like this one from Metallica. Cheers.
