Actually, I would have written, "In certain respects, it remains a niche album for a few connoisseurs..." and I would emphasize "certain respects." I didn't say it's a niche album. The fact that the editors highlighted it is another matter entirely. Anyway, I thank you for the comforting opinions; I know I haven’t written much, but I believe this is enough for someone like JS, who needs no introduction and fundamentally sounds the same way for the past 20 years...

As always, an excellent review of an album I don't know at all, not so much out of ignorance, but because the genre doesn't particularly appeal to me. In any case, I always keep in mind the favorable opinions of other reviewers. ;-)
