THE REVIEW

I want to clarify right away that what I’m reviewing is not the EP "Eternal Pyre" due to the impossibility of procuring it (it was sold on only one site and is already sold-out), but rather the single "Cult" which can be listened to freely on the official website. It’s them, always recognizable, there's no doubt about it (blood). And now it seems - and I repeat seems - that they have returned to the sound of the dear Reign in Blood, perhaps due to the return of Lombardo, who knows... To confirm this, listening to the entire album is obviously necessary, which will be released shortly.

Insanely fast, blasphemous lyrics (this "Cult" in particular manages to be even more anti-religious than the old "Disciple"!), guitar solos like "infernal lament," it's an amazing two words. In my opinion, the calm beginning with slightly distorted guitars, which explode soon after among Araya’s howls, is truly impactful.

These guys have style, damn it...

"Religion is hate
Religion is fear
Religion is war

Religion is rape
Religion's obscene
Religion's a whore"
