Like you said, I've also been enchanted by Grace Kelly and have become a fan of Mika; however, I really like this album, it brings me joy. I agree with everything you say, including about the songs. I still hear a bit of Robbie Williams in the final part of Lollipop... I mean, you get it... there's truly a mix of everything! In Billy Brown, there's more than a hint of The Beatles...
That said, I really like this album and I'd rather wait for the second step to judge. Life In Cartoon Motion couldn't have been a more fitting title.
