Pino Daniele Terra Mia
Voto:
essential, visceral, and moving album
Vinicio Capossela Modì
Voto:
a beautiful discourse on the origins of Capossela and on second works in general. However, I still find it provincial and unseemly to talk about the best songwriter of his generation by referring solely and exclusively to influences that at most were felt only in his very first albums.
Franco Battiato Mondi Lontanissimi
Voto:
you are probably getting worked up about something more than a child
Franco Battiato Mondi Lontanissimi
Voto:
The review is almost well done, but I mostly disagree with the observations made. The album is always a notch above the average production of the vast majority of Italian singers, so at least four stars should be given. To those who speak of Battiato's decline, I say only that true geniuses do not decline; they simply evolve. And Battiato is a genius.
Ligabue Nome E Cognome
Voto:
Ligabue has reached the nirvana of music, that state in which it's possible to write a successful single without any inspiration, desire to experiment, or any wish to express a deep thought. Ligabue today is this, an excellent craftsman and merchant of rock, take it or leave it. If in life you love to always discover the new, look elsewhere.
Coldplay Clocks (Single)
Voto:
the song is beautiful, the review a bit pathetic
Lucio Battisti Il Gabbianone
Voto:
the fantasized album by Battisti definitely exists. Battisti's own father, Alfiero, has repeatedly confirmed the existence of recordings for more than one album. Probably when Battisti's copyright becomes part of humanity's heritage (I believe in about 60 years), it will be possible to listen to them, given the extreme reluctance of the relatives to publish them. Returning to Gabbianone, I recommend those who are skeptical about the leftovers to first listen to the track.
Dire Straits Brothers In Arms
Voto:
I definitely find this album superior to the next one, Brothers in Arms has relied on three or four songs, but it doesn’t always measure up with the less famous tracks...
Dire Straits On Every Street
Voto:
splendid album, with arrangements of the highest quality and many beautiful songs. Unfortunately underrated by most, critics and wild fans...
Genesis Foxtrot
Voto:
The review is well done, just a bit heavy in some parts. The album is really very nice, although it hasn't aged very well upon listening.
