Hello Odra, I’m sorry that you have an "irritating" memory of Calovolo. Back in the day, I read a lot of Rockerilla, Mucchio, and then Rumore (and Blow Up). I also followed and appreciated Campo, but the pages I hold in memory and that pierced my heart were those of Alessandro. At first glance "para-literary exercises," but in reality a raw exposure of a poetic soul deeply attached to music as to life. I crossed paths with him only once at a music fair right in Turin. An affable and affectionate person despite the tumor that hugely swollen half of his face. He died shortly after. P.S.: if you dig out Rockerilla, reread his reviews or interviews on Cocteau Twins, dead can dance, and Sylvian. (By the way, he wrote a book on the Jam together with Campo).

At this point, what do you think about setting up an exclusive concert (in podcast?) by Alessandra for Debaser? With the Clan, followers, and curious onlookers, success would be guaranteed.

Don't worry, I've ignored Scaruffi too and I'm surviving without it. Like you, I'm looking for information on Allmusic, which is more reliable and neutral.

Remarkable the album and also the review. I want to point out the memorable collaboration between Jourgensen and Jello Biafra. The albums released under the name LARD amplify the themes infused with Jello's alienated irony. Especially "the last temptation of Reid" deserves a listen (beyond the splendid cover).

I would have liked to be there as well. The writing conveys unique sensations. I’m looking forward to a performance in my area.

Well, something monumental about this record has left its mark in the production more than in the result. Many have followed its line (including the blue one of the Massive). In fact, I was in tune with Alberto Campo, especially in the early days, but then I changed my readings. However, my musical heart beat for the late Alessandro Calovolo (did you read him too?).
