Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia Hystory Of Psychick Phenomenon

Well, being cited in the review with a comment made by the other PWOG surprised me. Reading this, I find myself agreeing with the scribe. Including the bold yet sensible thesis about the high probability that records like this will become classics for posterity. Unfortunately, the PWOG have never enjoyed the promotion and distribution they deserved. The fact remains that immersing oneself in these sounds induces in the listener subtle sensory shifts that are much more gratifying than various chemical additives.

Essential record for understanding a piece of history (social and musical).

The special edition DVD on offer for 9.90 is something to grab without hesitation. I would say that "the one and only Henry Selick" is a great director (just look at the magical "James and the Giant Peach") and you can definitely see his touch in this film. And maybe that's what makes the result of The Corpse Bride feel less convincing, which remains a great movie but is inferior to NBC.

Beautiful description of a fundamental album.

Well, Slumber86, you really are spoiled for choice. If you want to stick to the latest releases, I recommend Clark (Body Riddle) and then sail the seas of Warp (Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada foremost) or dive into Detroit's "intelligent techno" starting with Carl Craig. A trip to Paris wouldn't be bad either (Laurent Garnier, Motorbass, early Daft Punk). In short, a nice journey awaits you...

Welcome back Almateo with your favorite band. The two albums by The Necks that I got following your recommendations I always listen to with pleasure. They are a good accompaniment during work hours and also work well as dedicated listening. Their secret (which might also be a limitation to their popularity) is the length of their tracks. They work on the concept of time that is often hypnotic, sometimes slow, sometimes frantic. For this reason, the drummer plays a key role in their always "on the road" sound.
Soft Cell The Art Of Falling Apart

Excellent review, the album deserves a solid 4. Compared to previous works, the sound is imbued with a sense of decline and the lyrics reflect all of Marc's despair. Dave Ball also made a great solo album "In strict tempo" with excellent musicians like his wife Gini (viola and violin) and the voices of Genesis P. Orridge and Gavin Friday (a must-listen).
The Breeders Last Splash

A unique yet effective review. However, even back in the days of the Pixies, it was evident that Frank Black was not your typical frontman (unlike the leader of Jane's Addiction). The band played in unison, and the personalities balanced each other out. That Kelly was the most gifted became clear later on.

Overrated. I would go as far as to say "plasticky." In fact, at Sonar live they made a fool of themselves.
