Blind Guardian Somewhere Far Beyond
Voto:
To be honest, mediocre for one of the band's best albums. Every album by BD, at least up to Nightfall, has marked a constant evolution in terms of technique, songwriting, and sound. Dismissing this record with a track by track means underestimating its importance. Not to mention that "The Bard's Song" remains to this day one of the most thrilling moments of the live shows. And, above all, - damn it - Trial By Fire is not just "a good speed track," but the cover of the first song by those bastards Satan!!...

"I quickly grabbed the record (...), not knowing that it would become (...)", "another", "franbusto", "Tommi Iommi" "+ spedita" and the joke about Bin Laden. No hard feelings.

Really beautiful. Congratulations.

Sorry Hybris, but I didn't like the review: it's too bare and the reference to the good old days doesn't seem to be, how can I put it, very "constructive." It's like insisting on comparing (just to make an example) the latest Slayer releases to Reign in Blood.. No hard feelings.

..aniel.. I’m afraid you’ve got the wrong record...
Robben Ford Talk To Your Daughter
Voto:
I don't know all of Ford's discography, but this is definitely one of the most beautiful I've listened to. Good review: I've never had the chance to see him live, but I've always imagined him to be very "down to earth"... too bad I have to change my mind.. Bye!

I don’t care about your political ideas. I don’t care about the left or the right (I’d suggest you listen to a certain Gaber song..), I don’t care if there are more or less famous groups that have declared themselves more or less openly communist or fascist or sarcazzista. I know you wrote a miserable review, the beginning of which makes no sense. I know you called someone a fascist who burns Jews for daring to express an opinion different from yours (but wasn’t that what the fascists did?!.. where has the leftist tolerance gone?!?). I know this is a site where we talk about records and music, which are things that should unite people or, at most, stimulate debate and not put them against each other (wasn't the right supposed to be warmongering?!). I know that the less politics becomes a nuisance on this site, the better it is for everyone. I know you used a clearly provocative nickname and that it’s precisely for aggressive people, totally lacking in dialectical spirit and deeply convinced they’re the sole bearers of absolute truth like you (..at sixteen?!?.. am I wrong or is that a typical aspect of adolescence?!.. if all goes well, in 3-4 years you’ll have moved past this storm..) that we often end up in clashes.. calm down, okay..

Blind Guardian Twist In The Myth
Voto:
Well-written review... but with excessively enthusiastic tones. In my opinion, the album doesn’t deserve 5 stars, not even for the dragon of St. George (to be honest, as far as I'm concerned, nothing that bears the BG label after Imaginations deserves 5 stars..), but here personal tastes come into play, and whatever.. I hate track by track.. Bye!
