Well, when my father got this CD about 3 years ago, it intrigued me a lot, and as we were driving home, I put it in my trusty player...
The first song I quite liked, but by the second one, I got bored and went back to listening to my new Muse CD (!!!!). About 2 years later, after listening to metal bands like Metallica, I wondered what the origin of this amazing genre was, and by Googling I found bands like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. In a rush, I immediately picked up the album I'm about to review, not knowing it would become one of my favorites: the first song is Sweet Leaf, a song with a guitar riff that gets stuck in your head, never to be forgotten... almost worse than summer hits... The second song starts off faster, and it turns out to be very good. Here's an intro (excellent), to present the next song, the most beautiful, the most thrilling, engaging, and adrenaline-pumping of the album... and here comes none other than... Children of the Grave!!!! No comment... what do you want me to say? It's wonderful, I mean, you can't review it all... Lord of This World must have been heard by Bin Laden. Yes, it makes you want to smash the world, grab your guitar and Bam! smash it on someone's head... it's very adrenaline-pumping, got it or not?
After all this hustle, chaos, sex, orgy, and rock 'n' roll, and after breaking the world in two, a break is needed. Here comes Solitude, a tranquilizer, played with the acoustic guitar, it gives you the effect of a nice warm chamomile (not that it was much needed, how many worlds do you want to break?). The last track is another great song, wonderful, it closes this great album beautifully.
So, the album has ended, and I would like to thank 2 great rockstars: Ozzy Osbourne and Tommi Iommi, (and the rest of the band), for making such a beautiful album...
Long live the founders of metal!
