Even I think "5" feels a bit more appropriate, right! :) The nice thing about your reviews is that, after reading them, one always knows a little more about the band/album/music in general. They always have this "tone" that strikes a balance between the technical and the dreamy.. and they convey all your passion. It’s ten o’clock on Sunday morning and I still can’t articulate my thoughts clearly.. I hope the rating is more explanatory. Congratulations.

Good job, Sket: finally someone who doesn't take criticism as an offense to their mom!

"It was a resounding, sweaty, and disrobing Fuck you"... you've said it all...

Great review, really.. many underestimate the importance that hardcore may have had on thrash and extreme music in general (ignoring, for example, the references to Discharge - Sodom). I would exclude with some confidence that you are among those.. Congratulations. (not to mention that this review was published on my birthday and I missed it.. what a shame..)

..mmm.. I think I've listened to it a handful of times at most..

I know the Police quite well, but not the band in question and it would be stupid and reckless to make comparisons. However, I want to commend the courage to engage (I would say with the usual awareness...) with genres other than your "typical" ones. Well done indeed.
Hammerfall Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowen, Unbroken

The album is shockingly banal, just like the cover (is it possible that no one - the record label, the band itself, the manager, the producer, a Jesus Christ of someone - realizes that these ridiculous cartoonish covers mock the band and the genre?!... bah!). It's not their fault or yours... it's the genre that said - almost 10 years ago - everything there was to say. Albums like this may amuse young "aspiring metalheads with long hair but not too long or else mom gets mad," for everyone else, there's just boredom boredom boredom... I didn't say joy. Albums like this have an average lifespan of a few months, if not a few weeks, and they pale in comparison to other productions from twenty years ago in terms of originality, inventiveness, and, in this case, also technique and execution skill. Coming to you, dear F&M: you are one of the worst purchases in recent months (in a bloody battle with Bisius... and that says it all...). The review isn't badly written, I admit, but it's a mess that half is enough. In the other review, the political topic didn't come up because of your nickname, but because you went around calling anyone who thought differently a fascist, because you claimed to have an excellent historical-political education about communism (not to mention musical, which is debatable...), ending it all with a flurry of blasphemies.. try to act less like a kid and stop voting on every comment.. always, of course, if you want to be treated a bit better than what's happening now..

Well done!.. I listened to the album in question back then and - having rather vague memories of it, apart from the intro with the guy vomiting - it didn't impress me much, but the review is concise and very effective! Bye!
