..and after these last comments, let’s all reread that genius Bisius: "Damn CoolOras, what the hell do you put one for this review? But for fuck's sake, did you even read it? Okay, it's the umpteenth one. But damn, it's written really well. That’s all!".. Well done, Bisius!!!

"made very clearly, thoroughly, and correctly"?!?!...Bisius, is this friend of yours?!?

..Bisius.. I read it, and between spelling mistakes, typos, creative subjunctives, and repetitions, your "4" seems stranger to me than his "1"..

..pimptom.. I think you’re a bit confused.. why don’t you tell us how this album should be defined, so we can correct the dictionaries in schools for metalheads.

..and anyway, the lowest point comes when he sings: "I would like you in chewing gum, while I go to work at dawn / I would like you even if you were gay"...
Testament Practice What You Preach

...of all the comments that preceded me, I particularly endorse Floyd's: truly linear and smooth... it's a joy to read, really great job, The Boss! Unfortunately, I also agree with Francescobus regarding Clemente: I've always found him to be rather disappointingly flat... My rating for the album would honestly be "3" (production so-so - vocals that don't thrill me - excessive Metallica-ization in some parts, like in the accelerations of Perilous Nation...) But since I'm not the most qualified person to rate this band (Skolnick is a genius, but Testament has never been one of my favorite bands...) I'll abstain! Cheers and congratulations again!

..honestly, I felt a bit of the same sensation as Fidia.. expressions like "The perfect syncretism of the sounds contained here," "systematization in a status of classicity of trash-metal," or even "authentic concept of the macro-cosmo social zoomed in on the micro-cosmo of inner reality".. feel a bit like supercazzola to me: too much lexical showmanship for my taste. If a poor guy among many had written so many times thrash without an H, there would have been a cascade of axes.. and yet.. who knows.. Hi everyone.

...I clearly explained myself poorly... I didn’t mean to label the Protector as the "founders" of black... I just meant to say that, especially in Misantrophy (which is from '87, if I remember correctly...), you can find some elements that later evolved into black. There’s no doubt that the Protector, as such, should be categorized as thrash, but in my opinion, it's a rather atypical thrash, even rhythmically, darker... I mean, at least I would have expected to find a citation somewhere!! But since I don’t know shit about black, I trust...

..since we're at it, maybe someone could clear up this doubt I've been carrying since my teenage years: why is it that when we talk about essential albums for the birth of black, the name of Protector never comes up?!?..I can't remember who the black metal expert on the site is..
