Look, I confess that I've listened to it just a couple of times, in bits, so I might be wrong. But I didn't find that "magic" that was in the previous one... in that album there was a whole charm like "caravan+bonfire+wandering in the canyon+Indian ritual+Cormac McCarthy." It was the album I would put on in the evening, with the lights off: there were those slightly skewed lullabies that almost moved me. This one, I think I'll keep it in the car to listen to when I go to the beach: it seemed a bit cheerier to me, certainly more "rock"... less desert and more countryside, in some ways. In short: maybe I just wanted another album like Rites, and so it wasn’t. I'm really curious to know your opinion!! :))

For me, 2009 is alternating between pleasant surprises (the aforementioned Zu and Julie's Haircut, the Crystal Stilts, and even the new one from Trial Of Dead that I don't mind at all) and half or complete disappointments (the new Arbouretum and the new Titan). Luckily, in a couple of months the new drimtiater is coming out! :)

I intervene by reporting a fact that I don’t know if it will be useful to the discussion. If not, I apologize. My sister holds a managerial position for a fashion brand that is famous worldwide. Last year, when the Olympics took place, the Chinese authorities made the sale of that brand's products contingent upon the fact that the company provide, months in advance, at least one sample of all goods that would be marketed, complete with design drawings and specifications of the materials used. This was supposedly in order to assess their "marketability and safety" (?!?!? The Chinese doing quality control makes me laugh!!:DD). It goes without saying that, in order not to lose a market of millions of potential buyers, the company agreed. Likewise, it is equally unnecessary to say that neither the samples, nor the drawings, nor the technical sheets were ever returned… It’s incredible how they always manage to screw us over: not only illegally, with factories using children who work as slaves, but also in the name of that legality that we ourselves invoke! :)

Brusketta, what a joke you are... as soon as someone you don't like replies to one of your comments, you immediately respond: "Oh, are you angry?! Calm down!" Since you registered with this nickname, all you've left are copy-paste comments: half are interventions in discussions that don’t concern you, the other half are "Oh! Are you getting mad?! Relax!". :D! "You're nobody to me", yeah... sure... yet you insert yourself into discussions between me and other users, it takes you two days to come up with a response to my half-line, you read my comments (otherwise you wouldn't know that I've gotten a big head), it annoys you that other users might feel a sense of reverence towards me, and you even claim you're willing to make a little drawing for me, fully aware that such an activity would demand all your brainpower. You see, Brusketta, to me you’re just one of many. Clear, baby?
