Yet another (great) album you're talking about randomly. By the way, isn't this like the 25th time you've used a similar narrative device? Soon, at night, the space after the punctuation will come for you to take revenge for the nationalist treatment you're giving it. Expect at least a semicolon up your ass...

I admit I had a crazy hard time getting to the end... To be honest, there are a billion things that really pissed me off. I mean really. Aside from the tons of forced elements in the writing and the monstrous drop in narrative tension in the middle, can we talk about how poorly the characters are written (obviously with the exception of Die Antwoord, who basically don't act)?! The scientist goes to Weaver and says, "I invented the perfect artificial intelligence! Can I test it at no cost?" "Come on! Look, we're already fine as we are...". IuhGecman who first kidnaps the robot, then lets it go, then installs malware, then triggers the uprising, then doesn't care about the uprising because there's Chappie anyway. The scientist who leaves the shelter and then comes back the next day. The thugs who leave the robot in the hands of idiots who start throwing stones at it because... "this way the robot learns that the world is ugly"?!?!?!? What the hell is this nonsense? It’s really a shame...

To be honest, it didn't blow me away. I really liked the fact that there's no explanation for the protagonist's behavior: she doesn’t do it for money, she doesn’t do it out of lust, and she doesn’t do it - as I’ve read in various places - to feel in control of the men who desire her. She doesn’t even enjoy it. She just does it. From this perspective, the conversations with the psychologist are exemplary, as his questions sound so banal they seem lifted directly from the advice column of some weekly magazine. On the other hand, I found the mention of estrangement/detachment/(I hope not) rebellion against the bourgeois code (which is somewhat summarized in the figure of the mother) to be rather "thrown in": see the scene - entirely skippable - of the whole family having breakfast with croissants and orange juice while deciding where to go on holiday "no less than two weeks," with the protagonist off to the side, watching and realizing she is not part of that group. I don't know... is this enough to make it a coming-of-age film? 3 stars, because it’s well shot (the mechanism where every time she goes down the subway stairs she somehow "changes skin" is very nice) and I liked the actors.

The problem isn't just the Italianization of names. It's that really terrible names were used. I mean, they couldn't choose classic names that never go out of style like "Marco," "Alessandro," or "Sara." No. The Japanese cartoon was the opportunity to unleash a festival of terrible naming. Like "Hikaru" from Orange Road, which someday someone needs to explain to me why they translated it to "Tinetta," a name that, in my opinion, doesn't even exist in the registry. The worst treatment, for some strange reason, was reserved for the works of Misturu Adachi (for those who aren't experts in bukkake like me, we're talking about, for example, Prendi il mondo e vai), in which there is systematically a chubby character who, in the Italian translation, ended up being called with augmentatives like "Giorgione" or "Ernestone." By the way, "Prendi il mondo e vai" holds the title of "Worst Name of All Time" with the evil coach, who goes from Eijiro Kashiwaba to "Mister Roccaforte"...

Probably, in terms of feature films, it's truly Miyazaki's peak. Let's say it's in the running with Spirited Away, which has a more "individualistic" approach, while with this one he aims to embrace more "global" and "adult" themes. Referring back to the discussion in some comments above, I recommend everyone (for those who haven't already) to follow Mamoru Hosoda. Of course, he got his start with more commercial productions, then he passed through Studio Ghibli, but he didn't stay there long, and in recent years he has produced some really beautiful works, particularly The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (which is just cute), Summer Wars, and Wolf Children (very different, but all fantastic). On the other hand, I think sooner or later Makoto Shinkai will release a masterpiece that will truly blow everyone away; he might be a bit too sentimental and sometimes seems to slip too much into shojo, but he’s quite something, one of those who does E V E R Y T H I N G himself, from the screenplay to the art and even the music. His Journey to Agartha didn't blow me away, but in every one of his works, I find something that I really love.

Here, I really liked this one. Because, if nothing else, you don’t bore us with the usual do-gooder shrimp. A truly beautiful page. And great references for further exploring the historical fact. Well done.

Maronna what a flash! For some strange reason, I had convinced myself that the author of the review was the partying buddy pixies77. I started reading and, line after line, I kept thinking, "Has he lost his mind...". Then I realized that the author was actually the revived Enbar. Dear, years go by, but your writings still stubbornly make me feel like crap, like an ideal cross between a talk show hosted by Paolo del Debbio and a random book by Coehlo. Oh, well, welcome back, eh!

But are you a sloth ( Le maratone di un bradipo cinefilo: Metalhead ( 2013 ) ) or have you just plagiarized a little?!? It sounds like the homework of some prankster teenager obsessed with Cradle of Filth, but reading the review almost makes me doubt that a quick glance might be granted... I'm not very convinced, but if anyone has a link or "something" to watch it subtitled, I think I could carve out a couple of hours to see it.

Flash review not entirely bad, but it doesn’t quite explain the musical proposal. I read an ethnic influence in the genres and Balkan music in the review. In short: not exactly what I usually go crazy for... Bye.
