No, no! Miss Germanotta is definitely in shape, I won't deny it. However: 1) objectively, there are plenty of people in shape, both inside and outside the music world; 2) all these post-goth vibes really inhibit me; 3) all this flaunted eroticism, this constant provocation seems tiresome, exhausting (and maybe a bit vulgar?). It has the same effect as a low-budget porn movie: it gets boring pretty quickly. In short: better Antonelli in Malizia even with not exactly pin-up shapes, rather than any 120-60-90 in "La moglie del fattore lo fa a tutte le ore."

To be honest, what has kept me away from electronics and/or this kind of music until now is precisely the fact that I can't really feel it as my own. It's the compositional aspect that you see - if I've interpreted correctly - as something intimate, that leaves me perplexed: it's as if I find this music too sterile, too "thought-out," too "surgical" to evoke a genuine empathy with the author. I don't know...
