Dire Straits Live At The BBC
Voto:
A record that, although it hasn't sold as much as the group's studio masterpieces, still deserves to have a chance. Thanks again.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin III
Voto:
Oh my God, initially I had believed (and accepted?) that Led Zeppelin didn't exactly win your favor, but considering your eclectic tastes, I think it's only right not to let this little record gather too much dust because it doesn't deserve to be dismissed, contrary to what some (self-proclaimed) know-it-all writes, "Still the Led Zeppelin?" Yes, still!
The Doors Other Voices

Dear Lorenzo..oops, a record like this is certainly not one to take to a deserted island, but it still serves to complete the knowledge of a group that has made an invaluable contribution to the history of rock music and beyond.
Art Garfunkel Scissors Cut

Great record and beautiful words that describe it.
Dire Straits Alchemy
Voto:
Thank you again for your kind words, but "Alchemy" is a pure album (...and you can feel it from the numerous background noises that don't disappear even on the CD) released during a time when rock music (the real kind) was struggling a bit. An album that, despite the period it was released in, stands the test of time remarkably well, proving to be a live greatest hits collection that showcases all the various musical facets that the pen of Mark Knopfler has managed to bring to life.
Pink Floyd The Final Cut
Voto:
@De...Marga...Hi, I notice that your expertise is so broad that I'm starting to reconsider some of my musical beliefs. In fact, choosing to spend four words on "The Final Cut" is not easy at all, since it is with this album that the collaboration between Roger Waters comes to an end. These are my ideas taking written form, especially considering how convenient it is for me to discuss it 30 years after its release, when the history of PF has also reached its conclusion some time ago. Nevertheless, even though I prefer other Pink Floyd albums, I can't say it's a work we could do without, given the quality of the product that keeps me from letting it collect dust on the shelf where "TFC" is proudly kept.
The Police Reggatta De Blanc
Voto:
From Dire Straits to Police, a journey I've taken too (and I believe many others have as well). Unfortunately, records like these can only be found by going back in time and with painstaking patience. You may overlook the rating for "my written words," but is the rating for the work perhaps the result of a typing error?;-)
Dire Straits On Every Street

A great album for a more than deserving conclusion to a career... up to now... But dear DM, while I disagree, I respect the two stars you gave it.
Dire Straits Making Movies
Voto:
Good to see you again, DeMarga (I know you probably have a first name too...) you must have noticed my enthusiasm starting right from the first sentence of the "four lines" dedicated to the megaseller "Making Movies." An album whose importance is only understood by those who have truly experienced that historical period firsthand. As for me, I still have a 90-minute TDK cassette (...what memories..) with the immortal "Tunnel Of Love" recorded on it five times.
Dire Straits Love Over Gold

My only consolation is that the writings I find it hard to call reviews were sought out by you, and that your dedication to a leisurely reading like commenting on an album is not the result of any plagiarism on my part. I must say I am particularly fond of Dire Straits (and you noticed), considering that their albums, along with many other new releases, accompany my limited free time. Regarding "LOG," which I consider an outstanding album, I think I expressed a very heartfelt opinion that I believe is also quite consistent. I fully respect your view on the perfection of the tracks that you wouldn’t take a note away from; however, when I wrote about shortening the songs, I was referring to the deliberate extensions of "Industrial Disease" and "It Never Rains"... which greatly delight the ears of "us" Knopflerados anyway.
