Revise your judgment on Fossati and Degro... they write and sing like gods... and in relation to "vocal flatness," they are certainly not second to the wonderful Guccio... come on... (if you don’t move an inch, then you are really a woman... by the way, I’ve met quite a few, yes... even those who claimed to love jazz... then, scratch a little deeper... it’s unbearable misogyny...???). Enzo is not out of tune, not at all. He’s a ragged instinctive with a true jazz flair. He seems out of tune in a world of insufferable schoolboys crooning (for example... how many people think that titty iron, or Tiziano Ferro, sings well...?? these are commonplaces that have unfortunately become dominant)...

@silverblasco: the idea that everyone can and should mind their own business is not up for discussion, and it’s not even something to talk about (obviously). The problem is the finger pointing: let me give you an example. Casini and Berlusconi preach about the traditional family, yet one is with a much younger and wealthier second wife than the first, while the other is hooking up with a showgirl (having her elected to parliament...) after two marriages. Are they wrong...? No, it’s their own business: it’s the moralizing finger that should be shoved up their asses. So I tell Vasco: go ahead with your business, nice and easy, with pleasant little songs (after all, this one isn’t too bad...), but don’t pretend to be an independent revolutionary, because you’re not...! True courage would be locking yourself in a room, writing eight genuine singer-songwriter songs, recording them with just your voice and guitar, and trying to sell them, not giving a damn about stadiums, marketing, and merch. But is he still capable of that....???

Well... the hour of irrevocable confessions has arrived! I adore all those you mentioned (Gaber was a genius for me, Guccio has always been my idol - if you want, you can find my review of the last concert at the Forum in Milan... - and I consider Madame Bovary his absolute masterpiece; Tenco was truly a giant avant la lettre of the best singer-songwriter tradition). Unfortunately, I must admit to a visceral passion for DeGregori and Fossati, whom I can't understand how people consider whiny (...or more whiny than Guccio or Tenco...), but I forgive you easily, since you are so unique. And when it comes to our national Claudio, the most sincere and embarrassing confessions come out. "La vita è adesso" and "Oltre" are beautiful, in my opinion. There are peaks and depths before and after, but Claudio is made like that... (the last covers album is the summer of unbearable baroque excess...)... So I am and remain dazzled by the unique woman, or the genius man who plays the part so well...

After the above points, however, at least the exceptions of "Sally" and "Gli Angeli" should be acknowledged... perhaps they are exceptions that confirm the rule...

42 years old, a fan of Jannacci, knowledgeable, probably a fan of singer-songwriters (...?). If I weren't married, I would dive in head first...

"niece" I hope in the sense of "aunt".... or "grandmother"...??? Anyway, good: I also saw Enzo last year (there's my review) and it was an exceptional concert.

beautiful voice but quite impersonal (alas), good tracks but rather impersonal (riahimé...). Moreover, in the 2-3 bits of "fossateggia," the "fossateggia" is done much less well than the original dad... Well... I might be going against the tide, but of the two artist sons, Cristiano is much more talented (who is a bit less skilled than his dad and a bit more awkward... ri-riahimé...) I, as a longtime princiniano, must say that this album is certainly much better than others, but we are still far from the works of the truly golden period (which for me runs from 1079 to 1986). (primiballi.blogspot.com)

well... modest review (in my equally modest opinion) for an album that is just a good background for sleep and various relaxation (nothing more...)

Today, I repeat, it’s a great industry, an excellent manager, and a good entertainer. The rest is just fluff. The Art of Music, the real one, lives elsewhere; the business, on the other hand, resides here (who knows what the young davejon has understood about my review and my comments... bah... for me, it’s done...)
