Do I ruin the environment too much if I say that I consider Pezzali (and this album) the beginning of the end of great Italian music (not only authorial, which is too easy an objection, but also purely pop)…? You accept it only because it’s the soundtrack of your youth... but guys... it’s really embarrassingly poor in terms of compositional-musical-interpretativ e quality... for a laugh, then, better, much better Paola&Chiara...

I see enthusiasm that surpasses my own... and so, modestly, I go back to listen... However, fundamentally, I find it hard to consider it among the best of the Prince, in light of what came after and, above all, before... It would be nice if everyone expressed their opinion on the worst work, just... to create a monument to subjectivity...: for me, they are Canzoni d'amore and Prendere e Lasciare (still great albums... but I’m a disgustingly biased fan...)
Enrico Pieranunzi Racconti Mediterranei

However, let’s not overlook Pieranunzi... truly an exceptional pianist. For me, he is currently the best active in Italy (possibly alongside Bollani... but that's a long discussion). In any case, excellent review and splendid album.

because, master...: who do you listen to...?
Massimo Bubola Quel lungo treno

Bought and listened to: I confirm what was said above. Written beautifully. I know he would get pissed off, but try to imagine it sung, interpreted, and "lived" by the voice and sensitivity of Faber....eeeehhhhh.....

Bambini Venite is a masterpiece, just like Pentathlon. The rest of the album is certainly not the best Prince, or simply the one I prefer... Nevertheless, as always, it's a good album. While we're at it, Terra di Nessuno and especially Scacchi&Tarocchi are definitely superior...
Francesco Guccini Parnassius Guccinii

I too must express my doubts, having always considered "Parnassius" his least beautiful album (at least regarding the recent past…). Now I should revisit it in light of the (not particularly brilliant for me) Stagioni and Ritratti, though...

I bought the DVD (which I highly recommend) and I can only speak very well of it, considering that it's a current product, that is, the work of an "old" singer-songwriter with an "old" and wonderful band, unfortunately featuring Ares Tavolazzi, who at that time was touring with Bollani doing jazz (very well...: I heard them in Valenza during those days and I still enjoy it now...). So, everything's good then...? Yes...: just don't compare it to "Fra la Via Emilia e il West"... otherwise it would be painful...

Voto:
Thank you very much for the compliments, and I reiterate...: the criticisms of Uncle Pino are due, always and only, to an infinite love and admiration...

The duets...? better live than dead (for once, me and The Punisher agree... a very shady commercial operation)
