saridda: I believe you read my mind. I could never figure out whether it was an emotional and subjective matter (you have no idea how much I awaited these releases every other year with autumnal trepidation...) or if there’s some objectivity to it, but the 5 bianconi are vastly different from one another, and, up to CSAR, all uniquely original. Hegel, while beautiful, is the first to suffer (even if only slightly) from the "déjà vu" syndrome. Agreed...?

perfectly agree... here we shit on more than decent singer-songwriters sometimes, only to go crazy for Oasis or Franz Ferdinand... (well... let’s give the infinite excuse of youth... but up to a point...) (primiballi.blogspot.com)
Madonna True Blue

Jokes aside, a very modest album, even in the '80s, despite its huge success. The true art of pop is touched by M with Erotica and Confession, two true masterpieces of the genre.

At the time, she still did it without taking out her dentures...

I repeat, at the risk of making enemies... for me he is (and was then) an overrated character: biting but less than the best Bennato, ironic but less than the best Jannacci, and as a pure songwriter definitely lesser, appreciable but lesser. His "myth" is certainly inflated by his early passing. But even in this, he is neither Jim nor Jimi.

Vasco (flour...think about it) is the one from '77 to '83. That's where the author and (in my opinion) the genius are. After that, comes the industry. And look, in this circle, the super-elevated Sachs Tania matters more than Elmi (those who really know things know it's so). Danilo '87: Valzer di Gomma (not skirt...) and L'uomo che hai qui di fronte are, compositionally, the best episodes (the first one is also quite old...there are voice and guitar demos from the mid-'80s...), while the fact that you like very modest episodes like Occhi Blu and Hai Ragione Tu makes me think you will consider Buoni o Cattivi a masterpiece (the style is the same...). It's definitely worth mentioning our friend Braido's solo on Stupendo, truly sublime (primiballi.blogspot.com).

I have proposed my formula several times: renting two rooms in the center of Naples, a Stratocaster and Marshall amp, a few picks and some liquor, and, above all, Fabiola and the children far away, but far, far away....: something good would definitely come out of it. (primiballi.blogspot.com)

The sober comment always brings joy... I, as a good Christian, turn the other cheek, but first I ask you, with courteous promptness...: but why don't you change your nickname...?

I, provocatively, say two things: I judge him without listening to him; this individual can’t do anything good. Motivation I: I dedicate my ears, my time, and my attention to something else (subjective choice); II: I couldn’t stand Whitney Houston back then (even though I loved her madly from a physical perspective) and even less Mariah Carey, judging them already then as terrible, diminishing clones… so just imagine the clones of the clones… sadness… (guys, they’re brainwashing you with this crap desired by Market God...: screw everything and everyone, grab an Aretha album for zero euros from the supermarket bin, risk not being trendy, and understand what soul is and what it means to sing). kisses (primiballi.blogspot.com)

well...it seemed to me like yet another episode (and certainly not one of the best) of the biggest musical bluff of the last fifteen years... (that is, everything that happened after the false dawn of the nineties). I'm puzzled by the "cute" of punisher...hmm...but aren’t there more people hiding behind "punisher"? It would be a shame, because every now and then there are flashes of absolute intelligence behind that name...(primiballi.blogspot.com)
