Sorry ANTI, but have you really listened to the lyrics of Jovanotti? I'm not talking about the love songs, which I agree are often very adolescent and filled with clichés; I'm referring to the others... from the album L'ALBERO or even this last one BUON SANGUE... I don't believe you have, otherwise you wouldn't say that the lyrics are silly and predictable (they were in the early albums, I'll agree on that, but I hope your judgment isn’t stuck in 1990!)

I agree, although the character, in my opinion, is not entirely to be discarded. Let's say he represents the vices and virtues of an Italian just above average, and then, I agree with Gale that, at this point, Jova IS DOING and IS. Take it or leave it... anyway, I prefer him almost to someone like LIGABUE, who really gets on my nerves at 1000!

This album is musically banal to say the least... sure, her voice is always a cut above the rest, but is that enough? Are a beautiful voice and nice lyrics sufficient to create a great album? Or wouldn't it be better to publish a book of verses or a reading on CD?
