"There’s no better genre for rebuilding credibility as musicians after having tried to piece together a jumble of disjointed and distorted sounds, usually ending up with just a big mess" ..... uhmmm.... double uhmmm... are you talking about the punk phenomenon in general? Well, then you're mistaken. Are you talking about the Jam experience? Well, then you’re mistaken. Are you talking about young and reckless Weller? Well, then you're mistaken. In any case, the Jam, those Jam, were by far superior to the experience of the Style Council, of which I keep a couple of things but have never wanted to listen to again. I remember a Weller concert when I was living in Turin, with Tom McRae opening, and it was a wonderful thing. Is the best experience the solo one?

the best album by Uncle Bruce second only to "Nebraska". A masterpiece of fusion between deep lyrics and great songs. A work of immense value, beautiful, poignant, the best representation of the best folk possible, and the best representation of the best country possible. I adore folk and country, I couldn't help but fall in love with this album, which is itself one of the milestones of the '90s. A nighttime album, and - above all - an immense act of courage. Well! I've said my piece, and now I can leave.
