these are the ones that punk kicked out of the door and now they’ve come back in through the window and have even sat down on the couch.

no band does a double album in 43 minutes and then the timing doesn’t really explain whether an album is crap or not. The latest Arab Strap is beautiful and lasts 35 minutes, which annoys me, it’s true, but for decades we (well, more them than me - I'm still young thank God) went with vinyl, and it didn’t have to be 72 minutes, there’s no way they’d record a vinyl like that. Speaking of sound: Mars Attack or whatever they're called always really suck, prog often scares me off, and artists who start with a punk attitude and end up doing 45-minute suits don’t inspire confidence.

Oh my god, The Mars Volta, save yourselves! But let me understand, is this CD ridiculous because it has songs that last 320 minutes each? Is that why? Well, then I'm in trouble. Three terrifying bricks of half an hour each; by the end, you’re completely drained. Aren't lasagna in the morning a bit heavy?
