Depeche Mode The Best of

Alright, we're missing a couple (let's say 4!?) hit singles... but in volume 2, aside from those, what the hell are they going to include!? I mean, what’s the point of publishing yet another best of, especially with the prospect of making a second volume when the most famous and representative tracks are all in the first volume? Who's going to buy the second one?
The Alan Parsons Project Ammonia Avenue

The review is a bit "complicated," but it explains in detail the meaning of the album (conceptual like all those of the project)...a tough job!!! But well done...the album is perhaps the last really beautiful one they've made (for my tastes), Don't Answer Me remains my favorite, perhaps not just of this album and maybe yes, Since The Last Goodbye is too kitsch, but it has a really beautiful melody.

I wanted to point out a mistake I made in the review that I hope can be corrected...the voice of the Alan Parsons Project that I wanted to compare to Blake's is not from Rainbow but from Colin Blunstone (former Zombies). My apologies to the Editors, but among the many voices that participated in Parsons' "project," I got a bit mixed up!
Madonna Like A Prayer

I'm sorry to give you such a low rating, but I really can’t accept the treatment you reserve for her debut album, probably one of her best works, a fantastic 80s electro-dance album. I encourage you to listen to it again with more attention and place it in the right historical context. The same goes for the less beautiful but equally valid and historic, Like A Virgin (after all, it's a production by the great Nile Rodgers). As for Like A Prayer... well, it's absolutely the first album I bought back in '89; I'm too attached to it, and even though I now notice some flaws, it remains one of my favorites. P.S.: Unconfirmed rumors from the directly involved suggest that Prince also played guitar on Like A Prayer and contributed to the production and guitar on the final pastiche "Act Of Contrition."

"It's Automatic" can be found on the first album "Living In A Magazine." You're right, it's a really nice track, but it has definitely softer sounds compared to those on the second album. I really liked both of them, maybe I just prefer this last one a little more.

A big thank you to the editors for choosing this review on the Zoot! I hope to humbly give them a bit of publicity because they truly deserve more visibility. I discovered them, unfortunately, quite a bit late, but now I'm never letting them go.

Surely the most beautiful album (among those I've listened to) of this year, it's hard to find such class and good taste (as well as excellent melodies) elsewhere, it deserves much more success and visibility, even though Diva Lady occasionally popped up in the Italian airplay.

As a good admirer of Madonna, I haven't bought this "album"...nor have I ever listened to it. I refuse! However, the review is well done.

But how the heck did I write this!? Well, help yourselves with an Italian grammar :)

Well, yes, maybe you're right... it's a bit unlikely... in fact, I don't know many people who appreciate both, either because, on one hand, there's a bit of prejudice against Madonna (and I can understand that) or often because those who appreciate her tend to focus solely on her, giving more importance to the persona and her image rather than the musical aspect (which shouldn't be overlooked, especially considering the excellent collaborators she has always surrounded herself with), and in this way, it's hard to seek out new music and less "flashy" artists.
