System Of A Down Toxicity
Voto:
Don't take offense, but by calling them heavy metal, you’re the one who shows you don't understand a damn thing, since they have nothing to do with heavy metal. If anything, it's nu metal, crossover, and alternative, but heavy metal is a completely different thing, musically speaking; as for the rest, it's a matter of taste.
Gamma Ray Somewhere Out In Space

It's a matter of taste... for those who love power metal, this and "Land of the Free" are considered milestones... and I agree with these thoughts... do you know how many power metal bands replicate this sound so saturated with keyboards?
Iron Maiden Rock In Rio
Voto:
No offense, but as a performance, Bruce seemed better on Live After Death than here... he's getting on a bit, after all... then again, I don't know! Anyway, you can't compare it to Live After Death; in my opinion, this is rather inferior, although it's still a really good product... to each their own, in any case :)
Gamma Ray Land Of The Free

but how you manage to define something like insanity and genius power as watered down and bland really needs to be explained to me...
Iron Maiden Dance of Death
Voto:
Paschendale is very beautiful. And no, I don't think there are too many problems... also Dance of Death is nice... of course, it's not a masterpiece but it's not a piece of junk either, since it has some beautiful songs.
Gamma Ray Majestic
Voto:
Nice. I really liked all the gamma's works, even the mistreated powerplant and no world order. They killed it in Milan... sooner or later I'll send a review.

Manowar The Triumph Of Steel

tell him! ride the dragon, power of thy sword cherokee beautiful!
Rhapsody Legendary Tales
Voto:
You’re right, ironight... the thing is that bashing Rhapsody feels very tru metal... well, I don’t do that. I love power metal and I love Rhapsody. And this album is a masterpiece! Maybe not their later ones, or at least not like this one, but this really is... and when it came out, it had a certain originality, in my opinion! There are so many classical instruments and (fake or not) I’ve never heard them so much from a metal band of the mid-90s! Anyway, de gustibus... and by the way, norv, what’s power metal got to do with Manowar, by the way? :)
