Manowar The Triumph Of Steel
Imagine yourself in a medieval plain... on a horse, awaiting a powerful enemy army... armed with a long golden sword forged by the gods and an invincible armor... this is Triumph Of Steel... one of the great masterpieces of the Kings Of Metal. This album was released in 1992 after the masterpiece Kings Of Metal, but the lineup is not the original: Davide Shankle on guitar instead of the great Ross, Rhino, a young Native American on drums replacing Scott Columbus, and then there's Eric Adams on vocals and the great Joey DeMario on bass.
The album opens with Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy in Eight Parts, a song of 28 minutes, mixing sweet sounds with aggressive tones. Metal Warriors is a beautiful track, powerful and epic! Ride The Dragon gathers archaic yet metallic sounds that develop the epic sense in this masterpiece. Also, Spirit Horse Of The Cherokee continues to amaze the listener with archaic melodies. In Burning, Joey De Mario gives his best, showcasing his capabilities, The Power Of Thy Sword is a masterpiece of heavy and epic metal... beautiful... epic... spectacular. The Demon’s Whip is another splendid epic ride... the album concludes with the splendid and calm Master Of The Wind.
In short, this CD makes you dream... You must have it if you're a fan of the genre, at least to listen once to The Power Of Thy Sword or Master Of The Wind... the rating is obvious... 5 ...
