Nico's first solo album is Chelsea Girl, in which she performs songs written for her by Lou Reed and Bob Dylan. If I remember correctly, a young Jackson Browne also plays on it!

The common thread of PJ's albums is that they never give the audience what they expect. This album seems to me to be the most enigmatic of her career, even more so than the indecipherable Is this Desire - and the transformation of her voice is truly surprising (at times it feels as if a ghost is singing). Measuring more the intentions than the results, this CD risks being remembered as one of the best Polly has ever made. In a previous comment, someone compared PJ to Nico, and I agree, if only for the atmosphere of a funeral requiem. No rating for now, let’s allow the listens to take their course…

I remember seeing at the Init Giardini di Mirò (back in the Punk Not Diet days) and OVO (one of the loudest concerts ever). I recall that even 4/5 years ago it was open intermittently (depending on how much the municipality was bothering them with permits/emergency exits/etc.). I agree with Antmo when he says that few people care about Rome.
