There are modern Prog groups that completely outshine some of the older ones. "But they are new, so they copy." Or "they don't do prog, it's technical post-rock with long suites and various changes but it's not prog!" If you came out two years after the Crimson and took big inspiration from them, that's fine, "because it's still acceptable to take inspiration after two years." If you take inspiration from the Crimson fifteen or more years later, then it's not acceptable; you've crossed the limit allowed by prog law. The term "they copy from the old ones" is widely used, forgetting that 70% of the old ones lived by copying ideas from their contemporaries. In the end, it's no longer about the "beauty" of a record, but the release date. Never think that the opposite argument holds: doing progressive music in the mid-seventies also meant (in some cases, not all) creating the music that was fashionable at the time and following the trend? Being sheep, "Britney Spears with a flute"? Certainly not: until New Year's Eve 1976, everything was permissible, beautiful, and fragrant. But if at Carnival '78 you picked up a mellotron: life imprisonment. The discussion about pre&post '77 makes no sense even if it stays within the confines of prog, let alone if we consider all music. Many modern listeners of past music tarnish it, instead of thinking "progressive," they regress by a good 30 years, convinced that they are moving forward.

Ah, and he doesn't even go by Kaos One anymore, just Kaos. He lost the One almost twenty years ago when Radical Stuff disbanded. At SIAE, he has always been registered as Kaos (that’s it). He doesn't even know what he's called, and he even bets on it. Give us the money.

The beautiful thing is that the person who knows this the least is the one who’s talking. Can you imagine he says the track with Melma & Merda turned out well, but it’s not just one person, it’s actually the group Kaos. In the track, three people sing, but he doesn’t notice; to him, it’s just one guy. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, he says the track with Chico came out well. Besides the fact that Chico doesn’t exist, it’s a nickname chosen on the fly, but it’s Chico'Md, twisting Deda'Md, and the funny thing is that the guy is one of the three who sings in the previous track, but he didn’t even realize it’s the same person. It can’t get worse: he acts like a show-off, not knowing what he doesn’t know, and on top of that he’s deaf and doesn’t realize there are no guest appearances on this record; it’s always the same crew of buddies with different names. Reading the nickname already gave me bad vibes, but reading the review made them even worse. Tèrìbile. And then Kaos doesn’t even do drugs.

"Fuck, I realize now that I've missed you!" Quite an ambiguous statement, isn’t it? :D :D - Hi Stefano, always doing great, I see, great proposal well described. They recommended them to me saying "prog-doom," but I prefer your version. So much talent, but they should find a slightly better-defined style, though as a debut, it's impressive. Definitely one to keep an eye on for their next release.

The new one that came out last week is also very beautiful.

I believe it exceeds two hundred or so (including also the things done on the fly, like this one), Hal. Oh, anyway: well Hal! :-)

At your age, are you still doing track by track of the first Zeppa? Wow, what an idea! Strongly innovative and revolutionary, I would say. It’s 2007, and the airship runs aground in Milano Marittima.

<< I am absolutely outraged by the avalanche of nonsense written on this topic that started as a review of an album by a great (and get it in your head, he will always be GREAT) artist like Michael Jackson. As a fan, and proud of it, I think this... beyond the fact that we must respect each other's opinions (I think he’s innocent, you don’t, fine with me), true respect lies in avoiding offending an artist that someone admires and respects. If you like Britney Spears, I won’t go around saying “oh yes, that little slut who has kids and then goes to have fun with Paris Hilton,” I would at most say I don’t really like her as a person or as an artist, but it’s all subjective… I always realize that when it comes to Michael, it’s always the same music, which is why I don’t even bother anymore trying to convince people who don’t even know what it means to think objectively, but are only capable of talking with insults and jabs. I can only say think what you want, think MJ is a pedophile, a rapist, a racist, whatever you want, even say that musically he means nothing to you... but at least be intelligent or at least a little mature when it comes to discussing something for what it is (in this case, a review) and avoid mixing the artist with the man… we’re talking about an album, so just express your comments about this damn album; otherwise, just shut up because I’m fed up with hearing arguments on skin whitening, racism, pedophilia, and various other stuff. I ask you this out of respect for me and for all the fans of this artist… we respect you, you respect us. And with that, I'm done. >> Human Case Now!
