I belong to the party that sees it as "the beginning of the end" (even though they're still at good levels), since from here on out we start to catch glimpses of that Heavy Metal that will completely take over the upcoming records. Usually, metalheads grow older and become stoner or doomsters. These guys, starting as stoners, have turned into Heavy Metal. In 2000. When I saw them opening for Electric Wizard, I spent the whole performance laughing like a pig watching the frontman decked out in a spiked bracelet of a good 30 cm. A true regression. // You're very good Bartle, I agree with all the assessments/similarities. I give them 4, for the reasons stated earlier.

Galactic bullshit at unimaginable levels. A review that is nothing short of harmful, which offends the Genesis by relegating them to "musicians," and glorifies what has delayed the release of the album as the "genius of geniuses." Horror, ignorance, shame. Give away the Genesis records, they're not for you. Listen to Shock The Monkey a thousand times, and repent.

And what if Marialena were the gay and goofy side of Punisher?

The story is his. He wrote it. So it's his. The film has great lighting, beautiful shots, and many other nice things; it's not the director's fault that Von Trier's story is so ridiculous that it defeats any comedian I've ever seen.

I have it, but I still need to listen to it. Lately, I've been leaning towards more "soft" stuff, although I believe that with the release of the new Down album, I'll happily put back on the supermetallarotothecore uniform. Recently, the only post-hardcore I've heard is the new oddball from Pelican, and I can't say if the change in sound was a great idea.

No, my God, I used MSN at the dawn of its existence. Those programs suck away hours without mercy. I'm not much of a chatter in real life, and online it's even worse :)

Well, there's always less "nice" stuff to talk about :-), and I also hop on the internet every now and then. My PC is always online by itself; at least it's doing something useful by taking down a lot of things and uploading them for others :D

I caught them because it seems one of the Tortoise mentioned them in an interview, or maybe they opened for Tortoise at a live show, I don't remember well. Anyway, they are also part of Thrill Jockey (a lovely little label).

Open, but how, it's been years now that we've been listening to the same stuff :-)
