I thought they were American... I also like Swallowed; if you listen to them without any post-Nirvana biases, they're not bad. I haven't heard this one.

The "russian psynth," if I'm not mistaken, is a type of psilocybe (for sure, check out www.lycaeum.org, it's a nice site). Beautiful recommendation. I'll get the album. I downloaded the 13th floor tracks and I liked them, thanks.

I would have given it a 5, but I just read how you feel about 5s, so your 4 is more than enough. The 7 (sorry, but I have it mastered) is furious. Great performance, it captures the essence of how awesome this album is. Well done.

The average de-baser spends much of their free time searching for the rarest music in the music scene across websites and magazines, and they spend a good 30% of their income on records. It’s logical that if you present them with an album that’s playing on MTV (therefore, not rare), and instead of saying, "yeah, sure, it’s on MTV, but I like it," you frame it as something "strange and particular" (which it isn’t, IN FACT), and even categorize it as unclassifiable in a positive sense (when it’s clearly Nu-Metal - Crossover), the average de-baser responds: "Did you take me for a fan of the Spice Girls?? Do you think I listen to Tiziano Ferro??" and they "get angry." Then you've also chosen the genre that’s least represented on this site (I like it, but there are only 3 or 4 of us). You misunderstood; this isn’t "too much" for our tastes, it’s "too little." Avoid POD, Linkin, Offspring, and various other things, and you’ll see the comments change.

Speaking of Crossover, I just finished listening to the new Incubus album, and it’s awful, really bad. BOY BAND. More like Brandon Boyd pre-Brandon Walsh. Incubus 90210.

Click on my name at the end of this review, you'll see all the ones I've done, and there are also the Snot, rec of the only album "Get Some" the titles I've mentioned there. You'll like them, they are the right mix of the aforementioned bands. Then let me know... about extremism I'll reply to your comment on P.O.D. (you're mistaken anyway) in a few days, now I have to run...

I read the comments, and in my opinion, it won't last. In fact, it won't even start; if the next one is like this, I won't even download it. Anyway, this one is still listenable, (and I'm impartial because I don't know the groups you mentioned in the comments) but it’s not the great thing that people are claiming it to be.

Well, if you mention Mudvayne, I understand why you like Untouchables. They don’t particularly excite me; the straightforward & heavy Nu-Metal sounds too much the same from one track to another. From Nu, I prefer the more mixed works, like Snot, S.O.A.D. (The First), the early Korn, the early Incubus, and of course Faith No More, who I believe were the pioneers of it. Anyway, looking at the koRn, I think I’ll go.
