Aside from the fact that even Maiden from album number 5 onwards suck, Marduk are somewhat better, but one thing is to stick to the genre and another is to make songs that are precise copies. Cradle of Filth are the favorite band of the classmate of the girl who listens to Lunapop and wants to be alternative, with vampires and assorted nonsense. I don’t see violence, just imaginary bullshit... and then you don’t realize that with these stories about Satan you're placing yourselves on the same level as MY GRANDMOTHER with the rosary? It’s just that you’re on the other side, but on the SAME LEVEL.

Well, it’s not exactly a Tribute Compilation to ALL the effects, but when you invite Cavalera and play at Roots, it feels more like a tribute. If it really has to be defined, it’s a monetary operation benefiting both Dave and the singers, but if it's done this way, then I welcome the monetary operation (I mean, I got it mastered from someone who downloaded it).

I don't know, it seems strange to me; everyone liked it, me, my metal friends, the metal reviewers on metal sites. Maybe then your initial expectations got the better of you. It often happens to me that I expect something amazing, and then when it's just okay, I end up trashing it. Like the last koRn album, I had read around (like with Probot) that it was an out-of-this-world experience, and then finding myself facing an album that wasn't bad but just normal made me almost angry. Maybe in a couple of days I'll appreciate something, like that Max sounds a lot like the Roots period (5/5)... and then, well, de gusblablahblah... :)

Thank you, Turk, that way I won’t have to see it... I can’t stand those things... definitely better than Vacanze In India, but it gives me the chills (deep down I'm a softie ;) )

For the album: 4/5 tracks are really good, maybe the one with Tom Warrior is pretty bad, and the rest is average, but that M.Head, that one by Max, Vovoid, and the others you mentioned are nice. It's definitely not a mind-blowing album, but I've never heard of any mind-blowing tributes, a solid 4 tribute.

NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. 1) if you don’t like the genre, don’t review it 2) this is not an album but a compilation/tribute, and it should be taken as such 3) All the singers perform well. 4) if you were expecting an album by the Foo Fighters or QOTSA, that’s too bad for you. this is a Metal album; you might not like metal, but this is a good metal compilation. If there’s one "flaw," it’s that they could have perhaps varied things a bit; instead, on the song with Lemmy, they stick to the Motörhead style, and with MAXXX, they do the style of Sepultura (THE REAL Sepultura) and so on. But what can you expect? It’s a compilation/tribute and should be taken as such, and it's not easy to do all those styles, even if they are all Metal. If you don’t like metal? Okay, De gustibus & blah blah blah, but for me, the rating is based on the genre; maybe you hate electronic music too, so would you give 1/5 to drukqs as well? Avoid it next time and review the two angelic girls, which you do much better. Logically nothing personal etc. etc., smiley faces and all, it was just a constructive criticism, I believe, and I hope you will take it as such.
