The best of SOAD, Toxicity is a joke in comparison, anyway, as influences I really hear a lot of Faith No More's King For A Day and Biohazard's Mata Leao, and the anger of Snot (open the booklet and see who they thank first as a band). I really liked them when they first came out, then I started listening to old records from which they were stealing heavily, and they kind of faded for me. But above all, LIVE THEY SUCK, I've never seen songs change so radically from the album to the stage. As a genre, I would have categorized them as CrossOver and/or NU-Metal; that would have fit better.

They gave me a CD-ROM with their entire discography, and I didn't hear anything exceptional, just a mix of many other things I've already heard. It's not that you need to be informed about a band to judge them; at most, you need to know about a genre, and I think I've heard enough alternative rock to say that Muse sucks. Radiohead, for example, I didn't like, but damn, they know how to play, not some minor league stuff. It's not my thing, but they're great artists; these guys are just three idiots who shove guitars in their mouths at concerts... and now I'm even voting since I haven't done it yet (anyway, this is the worst of all, at most the one with the yellow cover deserves a 2.5/3).
