Gang Fuori Dal Controllo
Voto:
I remember the Gang back when they were emulating the Clash and I liked them a lot, even though the last album of theirs I bought was "Barricata rumble beat," which I ruined by listening to it nonstop.
Massive Attack Mezzanine
Voto:
A fundamental album, but personally 100windows has always engaged me more, it's like it "gets under my skin."
Paul Simon Graceland
Voto:
In '86, this wasn't the music playing under the stylus of my turntable, but then a friend gifted me the infamous recording on a TDK C-60, and it was a revelation; the music is beautiful, the arrangements fantastic. The TDK is long gone, and over the years, I bought the DVD of the making-of, which is very interesting, but now I would like to hunt down the original vinyl, because I believe this is one of the cornerstone albums of world music, at least for its splendid fusions.
Cat Power The Greatest

this is a record that I will go to find, saludos amigo.
Santana Supernatural
Voto:
For me, this is an album that showcased a Santana in great form; the subsequent albums in the vein of this one, on the other hand, are disappointing and lacking any substantial ideas.

Periodically, I come to thank you for your wonderful comments. I feel repetitive, but it’s only fair that I thank each one of you. It’s always nice, two years after the publication date, to read that someone is still reading me :-)
David Grumel Beaurivage
Voto:
This album is beautiful; I listened to it the other day inside the Gucci boutique in Verona. Anyway, it's really well-made, but fearing it would bore me too soon, I left it on the shelf and took the one by Bliss, which I’d say is even more atmospheric and less dance-oriented compared to this, which still remains a great little record.
Litfiba Re del silenzio
Voto:
R.I.P. when it comes to Litfiba, it's better not to add anything else!
Cocteau Twins Victorialand
Voto:
When I bought the vinyl of this record, it opened the door to a world filled with gentle sounds and ethereal atmospheres, a door I have never closed again, and this record, in my opinion, is one of the few from that generation that sounds absolutely timeless... even though it runs at 45 RPM.
Gaznevada Sick Soundtrack
Voto:
I have the legendary vinyl record by Gaznevada that features "Beirut ovest" and especially the unforgettable "psicopaticoparty" where "...the hermaphrodites eat candied fruits...". I remember those years very well; I was 15/16 when I met Bifo, joined a club that organized the party for Frigidaire’s birthday, and for years I danced at Slego... at Aleph, at Insomnia, at Ethos, and in many other beautiful places of alternative Romagna. Then, twenty years later, I found myself voting for Berlusconi... there must be something that went wrong?!
