I consider the Finn Brothers to be the most inspired pop duo of the last twenty years (the Gallagher Brothers will forgive me)... just listen to the latest "Everyone is Here"... Crowded House has produced at least 5 timeless songs, and although I didn't fully adore them, I did for Style Council; I even made sure to own a CD of Split Enz. I greatly appreciate Neil's solo career, where you'll find even some robust songs infused with electric rock turmoil (I would like to highlight his live "7 Worlds Collide" with Eddie Vedder, Lisa Germano, and the Smiths' legendary Johnny Marr)... a sophisticated pop salute to Socrates Debaseriota...

Regarding Northern Marind Drive (beautiful and cult for me too), what do you think of "A Distant Shore" by Tracey Thorn? I really liked that one as well, maybe it's just the fact that I miss EBTG a lot...

this is a record that I loved so much even if it's Eden by EBTG that has been the "perfect" album...

I remember Matt Johnson very well! I used to really like the THE THE... but what happened to him? Does he still record? I'm trying to "borrow" elbow... it's amazing how much better the world is now that you can "borrow" records... I can hardly believe it... I'm curious to read your thoughts on Husker Du... I sometimes run into Pieranunzi on the street with his beaten-up sedan... his records always seem precious to me... enjoy your listening, friend Socrates.

dear friends, I am struck to find you here again, around this CD, and it makes me happy as well... so much time has passed (more than two months, almost a season...). Now, in my chaotic playlist, there's the new one by Imogen Heap (Speak For Yourself), the feminine side of Frou Frou, Pieces Of A Man by Gil Scott-Heron, As Is Now by Paul Weller, and Solitude on Guitar by Baden Powell, and what are you listening to?
(admirable the use by Socrates of the verb "to lend" instead of verbs that refer to activities deemed by richer legislators as "illicit")

I bought the record some time ago (thanks to or because of a rather pointed review). It didn't disappoint me; it's one to listen to with an open and softened heart... the girl seems talented and very expressive... I listened to it a lot during a beautiful trip... when you're on the move, music (I don’t know why) always seems to work a little better...

Socrates, the anomalous reception is a highly successful experiment... I really liked the album even though it certainly revolves around the fact that I can't listen to it without thinking about the story that lies behind it...
