I agree with you, this is nice, but Facelift and Dirt have an extra charm, raw if you will, but more palpable and immediate than this album. Here, you can feel decay and drift, just as the grunge scene was at that time... Right! The plastic of the cover is purple. The first pressing was like that. Purple brings bad luck in show business. I would say it’s a prophetic choice.

One of the most expressive covers of the grunge scene and a fundamental album, the one that marked the end of the Seattle era... Well done Slyde.

Friend, you've touched on a very delicate topic. I’ll share my comments soon. I need to think it over. I’ll rate the review next time.

But what kind of review is this? Wwwhate mattacchione! You know what, I'm intrigued? The Anathema doom weren’t bad, not my genre though. But you refer to them here as Rock Cosmic Doom Ambient... that Cosmic part intrigues me...

I would give you a ten! Done, I'm doubling my vote. Beautiful, beautiful review. Hal, I’ve lived through the Beatles since my (and their) birth, and they are genetically imprinted in my DNA. However, I’ve never been able to stand Macca and I’ve never managed to digest him, that hypocrite. Sorry, I'm getting emotional here. It’s too easy this way. John Lennon would have never allowed this CD, and I don’t think Harrison would have either (as a child, I adored George; he was beautiful). That said, I will eventually fork out the money to get this product (because it's really a "product"), so I'm sorry, but I'm not boycotting EMI.

I'll tell you 2+2=5, Pearl Jam have never been my passion, but Lost Dogs really grabs me, oh yes, there are some very beautiful and intense moments...

To me, ciaglia, I really liked this album, and a lot: if only there were more Jack White records around (as for the sister-lover, I won't comment, she's just a side note)... Great album, produced by God, fuzzy, tube-driven, and analog. One of the albums of the year, for me... bye!

Have you listened to the new Lost Dogs yet? What do you think?

For ...f***'s sake: the track "The Return of Innocence Lost" with The Roots is the same (still with Rucker) that you find on their album "Things Fall Apart"... For Hal: listen to this album first if you can, it's better... hi everyone!
