Hal, I received this CD a long time ago (a promo) but I never listened to it, even though I had heard good things about it. Yesterday, while organizing my totally chaotic music collection, I found it in my hands and remembering your great review, I gave it a listen. I’m listening to it even now... It's PHENOMENAL! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful... I'm happy :)

Welcome PhilCORE :) As I have already mentioned elsewhere, I can't stand Anselmo & Co due to overdose issues (in my former record shop, I spent entire afternoons enduring Pantera, COC, Biohazard, Suicidal Tendencies, because back then that was the stuff that was really popular here in Switzerland. GIVE ME A BREAK!), but I won’t argue about the technical merits of this band, which are truly phenomenal...

AHAHAHAHAH! Christmas Rave Party! This is a bewildering, cryptic, hypochondriac album of skeletal beauty... and it's so true: to appreciate certain music you need the right fuel! Bravo ...damn..., my review would have been sterile in comparison.
