"The beginnings of Catanese Luca Vecchio date back to about ten years ago, when with the Pyrosis he released the album “Without Reason”, also reviewed by foreign press and compared to the best productions of the R.E.M. of that period.

The scene, that of the Etna city, has for years delivered us artists of great value and of remarkable musical intelligence (Denovo, Uzeda, Consoli…). With these premises, the singer-songwriter returns with a production under his own name, for now testified by two tracks, the second of which sung in dialect. Assisted by Salvo Urzì, Luca manages to captivate with his exceptional vocal timbre, which is surely the offspring of a vintage Dave Cousins (hopefully someone remembers the Strawbs) hand in hand with Michael Stipe from the Paisley Underground era.

Thus coining the genre folk-alternative-pop is certainly not a gamble; listening to “Blu” one can indeed comprehend the preparation of an artist who deserves all your attention. Sensitivity and love for music.
