"...come up crash with the muses fells dust into ash/ Come so close that I might see the light inside me, I might see/ Let me hold you tight and arms tight and arms you lost your chance/ Come so close that I might see the crash of light come down on me..."--- (So tonight that I might see)

This is an album that I love very much, it's part of a very important piece of my life. And I love Ness a lot, I'm sorry he's not more recognized. A great character, a punk-rocker with a profoundly blues soul. And his tattoos are beautiful. A "real" and wild man, but also deep and sensitive, who has written his painful story in his soul, in his voice, on his skin. Absolutely worth reevaluating! Well done Zigghio for the suggestion, who knows if it will be picked up by someone.

The Libertines The Libertines

Yes, I've noticed that people often get caught up in the length of substantial reviews. As if reading a long text were a torture. Here, length is often associated with "boringness." This is a frequently discussed topic on Debaser, this matter of length. Another debated topic is sentimentality. For some, if a review isn't sentimental, it's not appreciable. There have even been annoyed comments in this regard. Your review is very good, informative, and comprehensive, a bit journalistic but with a fresh touch.---- Perhaps what stands out here is the title; the Libertines don't have too many fans among Debaser users. I am an admirer of this group; I really enjoyed Up The Brackets and I always listen to it gladly. For me, that album is the best thing to come out of the "revival" trend. It's a matter of attitude, and the Libertines have it in spades. PS/ As for the "crucchi," look, these aren't the things that offend me. To be honest, there are very few things that do, and if it happens, it's in real life, not here on Debaser! God forbid... And you know... Germans and the Mediterranean have always gotten along :) One more thing... Zappa is a legend, one is too few. I'm telling you this here or else I'll unleash hell over there... but one is too few. Zappa is Zappa, the Libertines are not yet "The" Libertines...
