Well, yesterday I finally listened to it, and oh! I like it a lot. I LIKE IT. At this point, I was expecting a piece of crap, but instead, it's good, well-played, refined, and if I had to criticize something, it would be the drums; too often they messed up the sound here. It's an album with a wide breath, less isolationist, and it's also more feminine than usual. Finally! Now I've understood what bothers you, but I already had my suspicions... it's feminine. This transition is necessary to reach true maturity, guys. Too much self-indulgence until now; we also need some fun. Am I making myself clear? They've matured, damn it, and I really like this direction. I wouldn't have been able to stand seeing them still grappling with the toxicity of their early days. Let me explain better: I "understand" this album. It's not easy to explain; it's more or less the same conversation I had about the last Blonde Redhead... if you're interested, go read it there. An adult album for people on the verge (or just beyond) 40. That's my opinion. --- These days I don't have much time to get into discussions, I'm really sorry, you know I usually enjoy it :D So let it go, you won't change my mind anyway.

Thank you Quertzy for your input. No dear Luigi, I have never picked up an instrument, anyway I don't have the time to discuss this topic with you, I'm no longer interested. You go into specifics, while my discourse is about indulgence. You are sidestepping it, so for me the discussion is already closed. There's no worse deaf person than one who does not want to hear.

I have the original vinyl. It’s been ages since I last listened to it, but I remember getting it at a little second-hand shop in NY many years ago and being as happy as if I had won a trophy. It’s strange, though, that in this era of revival, no one’s talking about it. But then again, when it comes to women, and especially black women... it’s always the same story... A true legend, the funkiest woman in history. RESPECT! :D

Zion will be given to me tomorrow (that is, today, damn it, it's two o'clock!) and I will comment on it. This is a release I have been waiting for with moooooolta curiosity. Anyway, in my opinion, and I think I have a 'thoughtful' opinion on the matter since I've been reading Rumore and the like for 25 years (I am one of the Ciao2001 generation, if that makes sense), Italian magazines are of good quality. French ones, for example, oh my, very biased. German ones are halfway decent, with a couple barely saving themselves. The only English magazines I read are Uncut, the best for biographies, and The Wire, very flashy, but a step ahead of all others in Europe. By the way... Damir Ivic, the best at Mucchio in my always humble opinion because when it comes to cutting down, he really cuts down, will come here to Lugano on the 16th (April) with his friend, a certain HowieB. It’s a small venue, family atmosphere, the kosmo that has the pass for the privileged room... anyone wants to come visit me? Let me know though, as I need to make a reservation.

I have the first vinyl album and I've always liked that mischievous look on his face. A captivating man... :)) Well done Eze. But it's a bit long. I don't mind long ones, but many don't have the patience to read them... Meanwhile, I see that our dear Django (Reinhardt?) has already lost his patience, right? :D It doesn't take much for you to get riled up, does it, Giango?

I gave up on death metal right from its inception (despite selling tons of records), but I have to say that reviewers like you, Stefano, who have already shown insight and understanding, always get to me. I won’t be looking for this album, no, but if I were still a music merchant, I would put it on display thanks to this review, trying to pass it off by 'stealing' some of your impactful adjectives. :)

Here I am caught off guard. But with you Sodo, that happens to me often and I'm getting used to it. :D I know about the AMT but not this Makoto. I really like the cover. What does the title mean? Sodo, you answer, or are you playing the artist? ;) ---- Shit, I'm doing homework, actually I partly split it with Taunus (just a small part though) :))) but now I'm stuck on Amon Düül, which I really like. Next chapter: Italian school. Thx again. Just so you know... you’ve put me in a tough spot! Too much to handle! :)
