Maxïmo Park A Certain Trigger

I kind of like them, even though I hoped for more since they're with Warp; in the end, I think like G_à... I've already set them aside, replaced by the acidity of Sons And Daughters, which I feel more convinced by... very nice review. (psycho, did you swap the scores?)
Suzi Quatro Can the Can

Thank you :))! @Hummy, I'm eagerly waiting! @Liar, yes, it's the first piece of the lineup... @Socrates, I'm a hopeless nostalgic, aren't I? ;) @VV, you are the most 'Suzie Quatro' person I know, you know? :D @Zzzzzz maybe not rock, but definitely funkyfunky! :))

Jaga Jazzist What We Must

Yes, now they are only called Jaga. Not by chance, since they are no longer so Jazzist :) Nice little disc... really nice (© Easy)
The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers

In my youth, I cheered for the Rolling Stones, while my sister rooted for the Beatles. And it was war. I have a particular soft spot for Exile and Aftermath, but ultimately for all the Rolling Stones up until Black & Blue. Then after... bleh, alas...
Sinéad O'Connor I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got
Voto:
A bit of Joan of Arc syndrome, Sinead definitely has it, there's no doubt about that. It's not a criticism; in fact, I think I suffer from it too :D perhaps that's why I love her... In any case, Lovi, we are far too uninformed about what has happened and is still happening in Ireland; the newspapers never talk about it. There, ordinary people are caught between a rock and a hard place, there's no way out, and let's be honest, the Vatican is doing nothing effective to improve the situation. In my opinion, that was an exasperated gesture, with a conscious awareness of the consequences for her career and so on… and rightly so, as she says, "just right," it wasn't done against the Pope as a person, but against an institution of which he is the symbol. She tore up the image of the Pope/Vatican, not the Bible... it was an act of protest against an absent institution, and not a power assertion like, for example, American soldiers urinating on a Muslim's Quran... it's these kinds of gestures that we should seriously be outraged about, not a torn photo.
