Matthew Barney is a giant in contemporary art. A work that will make waves is Björk (who is married to Barney); she is the perfect icon! What a couple!

I fully subscribe to Ptr; I too, when this film came out, shouted masterpiece, but now I see it with less indulgence, considering Lynch's subsequent career. I see we all agree on Mulholland Drive. I remember the first time I saw it; it was in the afternoon, just my companion and I completely alone in the cinema, a very old theater with red curtains and golden columns, a bit baroque. I have a deep reverence for Lynch, also because he's the only one who managed (to someone as inconsistent as me) to make me follow a TV series completely, without missing a single episode... :)--- Wild at Heart: it’s the only performance of Cage that I like, Laura Dern is amazing, Willem Dafoe is beyond discussion, and the story is truly rock'n'roll.--- But Guevo, you're not going to stop doing album reviews now, are you?

This is one of the most interesting and intriguing pieces of advice I've read in the last few months here on debaser. To get to know the artist you're recommending to me, should I start with this?

I agree on 5, and then I would give Communiqué 4.5, and then I would lower it by half a point for each subsequent album. If I'm not mistaken, this album reached seventh place in the UK charts in mid '79. However, it doesn’t seem to me that it struggled to make its way when it was released; I remember that we were all amazed as soon as it hit the shelves around here...

Hello Antonino! Truly one of the most superb live performances in the history of rock. The version you reviewed is from 1995 ("as time goes by...", remember it was released only for the twenty-fifth anniversary in a "remastered" version...). I really need to decide to get the Deluxe version, the one that came out in 2001; it's the most complete, it has the entire Tommy concert, and the booklet is worth it, it's full of images. By the way, the cover of the original vinyl record was made in a "bootleg" style, brown paper with that stamp, very raw, beautiful. I don’t know what I would give to have the original press vinyl, just for the cover. ---- The review: it's fine, it's okay, but I know you can do better, I'm convinced! Anyway, since I care about you, click on the name The Who in the box, I’ve posted something there ;))

Well, I haven't seen it, but it seems to me that it's a remake of a film from the '50s, maybe it's better to watch that one first...
