The idea that editors should also correct spelling... what more do you want, should we feed you? If you make mistakes, we shouldn't have to worry about it. Thank goodness there are editors who correct! Too spoiled.

Giusti and Jargon, Chaos AD is not part of the staff. Is it enough if I tell you? Enough with these political fantasies, please. Do you want to be part of the staff and help us correct all the 'po' with an accent? We would be really grateful, because as you have noticed, every now and then a few mistakes slip past us too, given how many there are. We are human, not automatic correctors. Giusti, you could really help us with this: the AntiPòConAccento campaign (A.P.C.A.). I've been trying to make it clear to our reviewers for 5 years now, but in vain. You know how to be persistent, and I can't take it anymore. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about it, Jargon :-)

Really nice review, very readable and thorough. I don't know the album.

Why are you screaming, sorry? But who said he was the only one?!? It's you, it's you who talk about a great innovator, not me. Frenzied! Can't you see you're making ridiculous comparisons? Tozzi, Balsamo!! Poor Lucio, forgive them love blinds them.

Delbert, thank you for your response no 61. "When one makes music, they are under the judgment of anyone who wants, not just Italians." Well, I'm not Italian, for the record. That's why I'm comfortable relegating Battisti to a certain national sphere and not a wider one. By the way, I own all his records, just like those of all the esteemed commentators mentioned, except for a few prog dinosaurs. I know what I'm talking about and who I'm talking about. It's not just a matter of time, but of fusions, collaborations, and contexts. I understand the difference between intention, development, and outcome, as well as between lyricist, musician, sound engineer, and production. How much money was there for this record? How much money did an '80s Bowie have at his disposal to afford an Eno or a Fripp? There's no sense in making certain comparisons, really. Battisti tried to do something more, something different, or innovative, but with the means that were available at the time. Anyway, I generally agree with the review and the flat and "plastic" sound (regardless of some songs that have inevitably entered the heart). Bye.

too funny :-) Valerio, you're right, I'm very foreign-oriented, who more than me! :-D and who more than Battisti, in this album I say there is NOT a single Italian musician, just one! It was recorded in London. There are people here who don't know what they're talking about! The comparison in this case shouldn't be made with the English but with Italy itself, because this album IS English! The producer and arranger (a dog) was (is) English too! This is what Battisti wanted to demonstrate, whether he succeeded or not is a matter of taste, but in the Italian music scene his intentions were clear, screw the Italians, he cared about these things, it was a challenge! Please, let's remove the blinkers of idolizing fools, thank you.
