You contradict yourself, and so what? Fortunately, in the cultural realm, it’s still acceptable to change your mind... I too, at twenty, used to say that I hated jazz, but by the time I was 25, I was all fired up about fusion. I certainly wouldn't have been able to write a review like that (which doesn't really provide a ton of technical information, by the way). It's the review of someone who's genuinely interested, nothing more. But it’s well written, adds a bit of personal touch, and conveys humanity. And that’s why I say “no ifs or buts” (whether it’s cool or not, enough with these stirrings in the pot).

Interesting, very much so. The review is really beautiful, thanks for the tip Talkin'. I read that Gay is also a music critic for Paste magazine. I will look for it; I have a feeling I might like it, given the references. I didn’t understand what you meant by "dalla quale, presumibilmente, non uscirà prima di un'eventuale cinematografizzazione: purtroppo"... in the meantime, let's support these small publishing houses with our word of mouth (just like you did)!
