THE REVIEW

We are overwhelmed by noise.
In factories,
in hospitals,
on the streets,
in shopping centers,
at restaurants,
on trains,
everyone makes unimaginable racket,
talking, shouting, making phone calls.

Crazy sirens, violating highways in the morning

Phones ringing without ever being answered.

Everyone with that damn mp3 player stuck in their ears or, worse yet, slaves to the music blaring from the speakers of the concentration hubs.

Enough! This market gossip has broken the balls, even in places of worship, I see and hear men with men and women and phones on, iPods planted in ears, the most improbable ringtones**, always-on TVs, streetlights illuminating deserted parking lots, highways full of people going but not even knowing where the hell they are supposed to go, all drowned in noise. Everyone is listening to songs that flow away like water and after five minutes don’t even remember what they were forced to listen to, if a God existed, He would only ask us for one thing: SILENCE.

Here Fausto performs the opposite action, dedicating himself to NOISE. No eternal silence of Cage(an) memory.
The noise that accompanies us throughout the long suite represents the external world, the noise that drowns us.The songs, for those who want to hear them, are there, beautiful and magnificent, submerged by the worm that rises and seeks to kill us, music for those who want to hear and enjoy it must be an exploration, a desire to listen to it and not just with ears.

We should rebel against all the ringtones of this world.

The whole thing is sealed by the vortex where the noise seems to suck all the things of this world, returning to us a bit of virginity. The lyrics, almost inaudible as they are buried under the noise, deserve a chapter of their own, yet.......

...... I catch some fragments "All dirty with democracy...police killing themselves in the streets....."

Thank you Fausto, once again you surprised me, and yes, we had talked a lot about this work.

Twenty-five minutes abundantly the journey closes.

I press repeat, go......
"they are illusions, to get away"

I recommend purchasing it (only 10€ + 2€ shipping)
and listen at high volume on headphones.
