One summer, I made a tape that played nothing but "Black Girls" on repeat, and even today, when I hear it, I get chills... a shout-out to bassist Brian Ritchie too... I wonder what it would be like to see them live today; I almost fear it...

uff...same old discussions...this one is better, that one is better...so here's my take: the best bassist of all time is Sid Vicious...he puts all of you to shame.

But which drummer are you referring to, since there were two playing the drums? The nice thing was the interchangeability of the instruments, and I must say the guitarist who took up the bass towards the end was better than the initial bassist... the moments I didn't like were those that reminded me of U2, especially in the singing... overall, a pretty good concert...

You're right Geenoo, the temple is always full of Pharisees... the music serves them to be different and churn out incredibly boring quotes... well, probably music, in addition to providing sensations (which these professors deny themselves), also plays an important social function...

T Bolin was a missed promise, much like a guy named Randy Roads, or perhaps even worse... guitarists with incredible technique (Bolin more than Roads) who left too soon. I believe that at the time he could have been one of the few to replace Blackmore, even if that didn’t pan out... but while Blackmore was anchored to the classic standards of 70s hard rock, it's evident in this album (which could still be listened to today) that Bolin was truly ahead of his time... yes, Spectrum is indeed a gem that influenced many other musicians, including, they say, Jeff Beck... to conclude: I have always imagined this as a supergroup best experienced live rather than on record...
